Traffic Troubles & Wintery Weather If you had to drive during the recent wintery weekend, you probably saw the mess on the Highways. Major accidents, several lanes shut down,and some serious “turtle in peanut butter” traffic. If there’s one thing we all probably think about on our way home it’s, “there’s no place like home!” 

Real Estate Reality: These traffic patterns and closed roads remind us why location is still everything! We’re seeing a median sale price in San Antonio around $265,000 to $275,000 (depending on the neighborhood). Homes near major job hubs and military bases are still the “gold mine” properties because nobody wants a 2-hour commute when the roads get messy! Is your commute still where you want to be today?

San Antonio Named a “Top Buyer-Friendly Market”
Big news from Zillow this week – San Antonio was just ranked as one of the best cities in the country to buy a home in 2026! They’re looking at things like slower price growth and less competition, giving buyers a much better chance to negotiate. 

Real Estate Reality: Our stats back this up. We currently have about 6 months of inventory (which means there are plenty of houses to choose from) and homes are staying on the market for an average of 82 to 137 days.

Today’s Advice: If you’re a buyer, this is your time to shine! You can actually ask for closing cost help or repairs without getting outbid by 20 other people. If you’re a seller, don’t panic. We need to be smart with our pricing. Make sure your home looks “Instagram-ready” to stand out!
