Similar to buying a car, an “unrepresented” Home Buyer is fair game to a sales associate. The only way to protect yourself is to hire someone who’ll have your back! Hire a professional; HIRE A REALTOR® who deals with Builders EVERY DAY. It won’t cost you.
IT’S YOUR RIGHT: Consumers have the RIGHT to hire a REALTOR® who’ll perform as a “Buyer’s Agent” when buying a New Construction Home or a Pre-Owned Home. Most REALTORS® will work for you at NO COST TO YOU. REALTORS® receive compensation through the Builder/Seller without affecting your Purchase Price. YES, IT’S TRUE! The Builders already have an allowance to pay a REALTOR® whether or not a REALTOR® is used.
